Founded in 1992, JFW, Inc. is a hands-on project management firm that has specialized in delivering projects with significant schedule, cost and quality constraints.

 

The JFW team includes Project Executives, Project Managers, Estimators and accounting personnel. In the past twenty-three years, the JFW team has completed over 250 projects totaling over $3 billion in construction management experience.

Jim Wilson
Chief Executive Officer

For the last 29 years, James ('Jim') Wilson has provided construction management and owner’s representative services to institutions, developers and non-profits in the DC, MD, VA markets and beyond. Utilizing decades of experience across hundreds of projects, highest construction knowledge and expertise, and immovable integrity, Jim has led numerous projects to successful completion and built a company committed to the highest level of service for every client. 

As Chief Executive Officer, Jim provides strategic leadership for all projects and performs research regarding the effectiveness of our service to seek continuous improvement and innovation.

 

Jim is a problem-solver who is able to empower clients to make efficient, creative and informed decisions, while understanding the resource and time constraints unique to each client. 

Jim enjoys grilling for his wife of 41 years, five married adult children and combined nine grandchildren. He also enjoys beating his sons in golf and tennis.

President

Jim Wilson Jr. joined JFW in 2012, sharing the ambition of relationship-based service, problem-solving, and integrity. With a background in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration, Jim has carried the generational baton forward with construction knowledge and market development. 

As President, Jim runs business operations, provides project leadership for several projects, builds new business opportunities, and cultivates  strategic partnerships. 

Jim's other interests include skiing with his wife and four kids, music composition and performance, and all Terps sports. Jim volunteers on the leadership team of his church and regularly leads Sunday worship. Worthy of note, Jim Jr. is mentally tough when Jim Sr. gets lucky and beats him in golf and tennis.
