The growing need for more efficient and faster delivery of facility-related projects has enabled JFW to develop its successful approach to owner's representation and project management services. JFW specializes in project management only; we practice no other discipline. As with any construction project there is risk and uncertainty specific to timing, funding, constructability, effectiveness for its purpose, agency requirements and contracting methods. The key role of JFW is to mitigate these risks by identifying them early and defining these issues in terms of cost, time, and program impact, thus allowing the organization to make the most informed decision possible while making the most efficient use of its available funds.
The key related service disciplines within our firm are:
- Partnering Leadership - Serving as liaison between the owner, design team, contractors, consultants, and government agencies
- Project Team Coordination for design meetings and construction meetings
- Design Review Coordination of all consultants including the architect, structural engineer, civil engineer, soils consultant, mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) contractor, landscape consultant and interior design consultants
- Preliminary Budgeting, Estimating, and Cost Control throughout the Project
- Value Engineering
- Scheduling and Critical Path Development and Administration
- Job Cost Reporting including written progress reports
- Project Accounting including job costing, schedule of values and detailed budget scenarios.
